Pressure is low to the south on Monday. Staying cold across much of northern England and Scotland with snow affecting central and northern Scotland. Further rain or showers in southern England, but probably drier elsewhere with some broken cloud. Highs at 1C to 3C in northern areas, 9C in the far south. Overnight frosts.

Less-cold than of late into Monday night despite still some frost and perhaps icy conditions in the north. Low pressure dominates to maintain some sporadic regions of rain and showers in places, perhaps still wintry in the north, but there will also be some drier and clearer intervals too. Risk of fog through central and southern areas. Lows -1C to 3C.
 


Tuesday
Low pressure over southern parts of the country brings sunshine and showers. The showers heavy and slow moving at times. Longer spells of rain possible across parts of Scotland and perhaps eastern areas of England, precipitation wintry on higher ground here. Overnight frosts. Highs at 3C to 8C.
 


Wednesday
No significant changes into Wednesday at the moment with low pressure slow moving over the British Isles bringing showers, perhaps some longer spells of rain and of which may be wintry still across some northern areas. Some drier and brighter intervals are possible though at times, perhaps especially through central areas. Overnight frost risk continues. Highs at 3C to 8C.
