Morning Call - December 02, 2017
Mostly cloudy
Less cold

Issued: 0530hrs Saturday 2nd December 2017
Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

Largely dry, patchy drizzly rain

Good morning,

High pressure is centred toward the west & south-west of the British Isles today. Low pressure is over the Norwegian Sea. A west to north-westerly airflow influences the country.

A weak warm front will have drifted south-eastwards overnight, lying across central-southern England during the day, leaving largely cloudy skies for all regions. A little patchy rain or drizzle, locally persistent for a few hours, but many places will stay dry throughout the day.

Some brighter or sunny spells breaking through, mainly toward the east of high ground. A cool feel will linger, especially beneath grey skies, but it will not be as cold as previous days.

Today's top temperatures reaching 5 to 8C, or locally up to 10C around western coasts.

Have a great day.
Garry
